OF 80'S HAIR METAL IN CHICAGO

Frankie Harchut has been developing his skill set behind the art of playing drums since the young age of eight. The Chicago, IL native has built up his live (and studio) experience by playing behind a wide array of artists over the years.
In 2016 alone, Frankie performed over 200 shows. His ability to seamlessly transition from playing 50’s and 60’s to Country and Heavy Metal has made him one of the most versatile (and busiest) drummers in Chicago.
Frankie is a first call for many of the top working acts in Chicago and has even been called upon by the likes of Dave Somerville of The Diamonds and Pual Chapman of UFO. He has done multiple US tours with The Bloodline and Dirge Within, as well as releasing an album with each band respectively since 2010.
Not only is Harchut open to incorporating new styles and ideas into his playing, but he also believes this has helped him to diversify his abilities throughout each project.

MUSIC PROJECTS

Tony began playing guitar seriously at the age of 11. For about a year, he sat in his room listening to Nirvana Unplugged with a tab book in hand. He was hooked. Throughout high school he played in random bands but nothing serious. After high school, he dove head first into the original local music scene. In 2001 that he got the opportunity to go on the road as a guitar tech with the Chicago band, Local H. After a year of teching, Tony was asked to do some secondary guitar work/backup vocals with the band. During his time with H, he was lucky enough to play arenas and huge outdoor radio festivals with some of the biggest names in music. This scratched his itch even more, and it was this that gave him the confidence to get back into the Chicago original music scene. He started the band STATE AND MADISON with some friends from high school. During his time, the band released multiple EP's and singles, toured the U.S. multiple times, sold out multiple Chicago shows, and had songs featured on MTV and other networks. It was towards the end of this run that Tony was introduced to the Chicago cover band scene. He befriended the band Hairbangers Ball through his work at 115 Bourbon Street, a venue on the southside of Chicago, and eventually Tony was asked to join the band. He spent 4 years playing with HB, and in 2016 left to start his own hair metal tribute, THE HAIR BAND NIGHT. Currently, Tony plays in The Hair Band Night, including our Metallica and Nickelback tributes, Sugar Riot (pop punk tribute), and his own original band, Gravity Prevails. GP will be releasing a single in December 2019. When he isn't performing, Tony production manages at 115 Bourbon Street, manages an 80's pop tribute called JUST THE 80's, and runs a CBD company called The 333 Company. But most importantly, Tony is a dad to his 13 year old son Jack.

Ellis grew up in Chicago and began playing music at an early age. He comes from a musical family, where all his brothers and sisters played multiple instruments. Eclectic taste in music helped Ellis play varying styles and genres, all while learning different instruments. He daywalks as the Band Director at Morgan Park Academy, a local independent institution.

At a young age, Andrew wanted to be an entertainer. His first love of entertainment was Magic. After he learned his first card trick from his grandfather, he was hooked. In high school, he started venturing off into other forms of entertainment and started dancing and singing. It was the Victor J Andrew High School variety that really gave Andrew the bug of wanting to be on stage. Right out of high school, he became a professional entertainer and then eventually landed a role as the front man of The Hair Band Night...the rest is history.

Coming from a long line of musicians in the family, music has always been in Mike’s blood. Joining his first band at the age of 15, he quickly fell in love with performing and exchanging energy with crowds. Whether it be with his cover/tribute bands, or with an original project, there’s nothing Mike enjoys more than ripping up stages and having a blast with the fans.
